Sabin is the younger twin brother of Edgar. When he and Sabin were 17, his father was poisoned to death by the Emperor since his father refused to support the Empire. His father's dying wish was to have the twin brothers rule Figaro together. However, Sabin wanted his own freedom instead of the throne. Edgar proposed that they will decide who takes over the throne with a coin toss. If it lands on head, they will choose their own paths. Knowing how much Sabin wants his freedom, Edgar cheated and used a double-headed coin, which gave Sabin a sure-win. Sabin chose to leave, and Edgar took over the throne.

After leaving Figaro Castle, he went to train undera skilled martial artist named Duncan. During his training he made an enemy - Vargas, the son of Duncan. Vargas was jealous at Sabin, and when he thought Duncan had chose Sabin over him to take over Duncan's place when he gets old, Vargas got mad and killed his own father. He seek revenge on Sabin as well, but after Sabin defeated him with his Blitz and told him that Duncan had chose Vargas afterall, Vargas disappeared and was never seen again. That's when Sabin joined your party.

During the World of Ruins, Sabin found out that Duncan was still alive, and Duncan taught him the best Blitz move so he could go destroy Kekfa.

Sabin is a VERY good character to use. He is very powerful, and his Blitz moves deal out a lot of damage. He is a little weak on the magic side, but not as weak as Cyan.
