Umaro is the second secret character of the game. During the World of Balance, you can see him from time to time in the cave of Narshe. He sees Mog as a master and follows him around. In the World of Ruins you can get him by going over the cliff of Narshe with Mog in your party.

He can be described as a 'big dumb animal', or in this case, big dumb sasquatch =) He got a lot of muscle, but not a lot of brain. He likes to collect bones, and you can see him fighting with his bone club in battles. Other than the bone club, he also uses party members as weapons when you equip him with a rage ring. He'd throw fellow party members at enemies and cause a lot of damage =) When you equip him with a Blizzard Orb, he will cast Blizzard randomly. Be careful though - he might end up healing ice-based enemies =)

Umaro is a very powerful character; the only drawback is that you cannot control him at all in battles. I still use him occasionally though because when he throws party members at enemies, it can really deal out a lot of damage =)
