Wow, two updates in the same week...haven't done that for a while ^^ I made another version of the Yuna FFX-2 wallpaper that I uploaded last time, so I decided to post that up as well ^^ While I was at it, I figure I might as well upload the 4 FFX-2 wallpaper officially released by Squaresoft as well ^^ They're all found at the FFX Wallpaper section in Misc. Downloads.

An update on the new site: There's a change of plan...since I'm very very low on webspace right now on this account, I need to move this site out of this domain ASAP. So, I'll be converting this site first to the new layout/version before I complete the other sections of Desert Garden Collective. I already brought a new domain for DGC, and I should be moving very soon (probably some time during August). Stay tuned!
Bandwidth problems: I found quite a bit of people did not read my usage policy and have been stealing my bandwidth by hotlinking my images. Now I'm over my bandwidth limit, which means I have to pay additional charges. Therefore, I have disable hotlinking. Anyone who hotlinks my images will get a broken image.

ANNOUCEMENT
Yeah, most of you are probably wondering when will I update or when will this "Desert Garden Collective" that I talked about would be launched. Well, I can tell you that I'm working on it, but I'm also working on a couple of other shrines at the same time ^^ It will get done - and it will be moved to a new domain as well. And if you're wondering, Final Fantasy X would also be covered when I launch DGC, so yeah, more work for me to do ^^ At launch, I'm planning to have sections on Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, and Initial D ready, so I'm now busy getting the Silent Hill and Initial D sections ready. And judging from the fact that all the content you see on this site took me 2 years to create, it'll take a while for me to get contents for SH and ID as well ( but not as long as 2 years ^^ ). I don't launch sites that doesn't have at least 90% of the content complete, so I assure you, once I do get DGC launched there'll be lots of things to see ^^
To all the people who have applied for link exchange or affilation: If you've applied in the last 6 months or so, you probably did not get a reply from me. The reason is this: all affiliation and link exchange application is closed for the time being until DGC is launched. Why? Well, since I am taking a new direction with DGC, I just thought all link exchange and affilition should be treated differently. How differently? Well...I dunno yet :) So all applications are suspended 'til DGC launches. I've been meaning to email to everyong who applied, but I got too many request and I just got lost with all these email on my inbox ^^ So, I hope everyone who applied would be reading this notice ^^ Your requests are not 'declined' yet, so to speak. But I would ask you to re-apply again when DGC officially opens. Sorry for the inconvience and the troubles ^^
To all the people that submitted fanfics: I got all your fanfics in my inbox. But I won't be putting them up just yet, since I am not sure I would continue having the fanfics section for DGC. I dunno...I just don't have much time to keep up with the section.

ANNOUCEMENT
First, I like to apologize for the lack of updates for the last month or so. There are many reasons for me not updating the site; first, when my host was moving at September, it seemed to cause a lot of difficulties...my forums are now gone, my email wasn't working properly for a week or so, there are various downtimes, etc, etc...second, I'm back at school again, and second year university was a lot more work than I expected. Third, I've been working on this site almost everyday for the past two years, and well, I really needed a break from it. I guess I'm losing a bit interest on working with this site. There are so many sites that I wanted to do, yet can't do because I used so much time on this site to keep up with updates and stuff. And I'm really bad at keeping up the written contents on this site O_o So, I'm going to take a whole new direction with this site...I'm not going to restrict it only to Final Fantasy, and I won't try to provide written game info and data anymore, since I'm never that good at providing those anyway. I'm going to start a new project called 'Desert Garden Collective' (DGC), which will focus the story and visual aspects of various games and anime series ( and various misc. things ^^ ), since storylines and visuals are my main interests, and I'm sure most of you come for the images and wallpaper I provide on this site anyways ^^ So, with the opening of DGC, FFDG would be, well, semi-gone, since this site will be closed, but you'll find most of the content on this site appearing in the FF section of DGC.
So, what game/anime series will I cover in DGC? I'm thinking in the lines of Final Fantasy(5-10?), Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Legend of Mana, Gundam Wing, Initial D, Totoro...well, it will depend what kind of media I can get my hands on ^^
So, I would like to ask that you bare with me during this lack-of-update period, and continue to support us with the future opening of DGC! If you have any comments on this annoucement, just leave a message on the guestbook or something ^^ 08-30-2001

All the broken MP3s links have been removed from the Music sections. The MP3s of the 2 versions of Melodies of Life are uploaded in its section, and it'll be the only MP3s I'll provide for the time being. 'Operation:Pheonix Down" has been added to the FF8 fanfic section, and 'Wll you be my Canary' has been added to the FF9 fanfic section. A bunch of new links has been added, and now a form has been added in the Links section and the Affiliation section to help you submit your site easier :)

I was just informed that FreeDrive took out the public download function, so the Melodies of Life MP3s are now re-loaded to I-Drive instead. You don't need to be a member of I-Drive to download; you just have to click on the link on the Melodies of Life page, then click on the filename of the song you want to download to save it on your disk. So now the two Melodies of Life MP3 are available for download again :)

Big update for you today! 100 Disc 1 and Disc 2 FF9 FMV screenshots are uploaded! ( see page 15 - 21 in FF9 FMV Screenshot section ). That makes a total of 314 FMV screenshots in the FF9 FMV gallery, and I have only done Disc 1 the early part of Disc 2! I didn't realize I took so many :)

I'm back! And I got a big FF9 update for ya! 80 new Disc 1 FMV screenshots for FF9! Just look under pages 5-11 of the FMV screenshot section for FF9 and enjoy! Be aware that there are spoilers involved. I didn't bother to watermark them this time, so there's a new Usage Policy for anyone who would like to use them for a website ( look under site info ). I took out the FF9 screenshots I took from other sites for now, and the coke commerical screenshots for FF9 is moved to its own section. Also, changed the entrance pic for the holiday season :)
