About me....the silly webmistress behind the site :) This section mainly explains why I made this site. This can get boring, so you might want to grab a pillow and a blanket :)
I'm Midnite Angel Aeris, and I'm a major Final Fantasy fan :) Final Fantasy VI is my favorite FF; I think it has the best characters out of all the FFs I have played, and also the best musical score :) I also like how it's not as linear as other FFs; there is no 'main' character that you have to use for 99% of the game, and for the second half of the game you can choose to do whatever quests you wish to do at any time.
Anyways, back to the subject of why I made this site. I started this site around June 2001, and back then there seemed to be very few English FF6 character shrines, and they were mostly Celes or Terra shrines. Due to the lack of FF6 shrines, and the fact that Edgar was my favorite character of all time, I wanted to make a shrine for him to spread my love for him :) I planned to finish the shrine around August 2001, but I never managed to get it done O_o
As I decide on the sections I wanted to create for the shrine, I realized I would be talking about Sabin a lot, so I thought "Why not put him in the shrine as well?" I haven't seen a Sabin shrine yet at that time (well, I think I just didn't look hard enough ^^), so I thought it was a good idea. Thus, I had to make a new layout, write out more sections, etc, etc. School kept me busy so I was slow in getting all the sections done.
As time passed, I found 2 Edgar shrines and 3 Sabin shrines (and they were all very well done), and the number of FF6 shrines increased, so I kinda lost one of the original reason I made this site. I still love Edgar and Sabin though, and although this site would not be as good as the other Edgar/Sabin shrines, I decided to continue with it. Then finally, about a year after I started this site, I got it completed :)
Why I love the Figaro brothers? Well, let's start with Edgar first. I never hide my affection for Edgar, so people who have been to my sites or read my fanfics would know I absolutely adore him XD He's such an intelligent person, yet sometimes he acts so idiotic that I just can't stop laughing at him. Not to mention he's a nice multi-dimensional character. And he got such a cute cape in the sprite rips :) His cape was the thing that caught my attention first (same with Celes ^^); I put him as the head of party just so I could watch his cape flutter as he walks :) I think he had the best picture in the Game Menu too :)
As for Sabin...well, he's just cute :) His personality and behavior make him seem like a teddy bear that you would want to hug :) And he's such a great comic relief in the game :) And I would never fight a battle without him in the party :) (well, there are times where the game won't let me select him...but otherwise, he would be in my party ^^)
