Gotta teach that Kefka a lesson for the way he treated ladies like Celes and Terra! Final showdown with KefkaEdgar, along with all his companions, went to crash the little destroying-the-world party that Kefka was having in his tower. At the final showdown with Kefka, Kefka questioned their motives for risking their lives in order to save the dying world. Edgar stated that he would stop Kefka from destroying the world so that he would have a chance to build a kingdom filled with freedom and dignity. The final battle ensured, and Kefka was defeated. Kefka's tower, once a structure that brought so much fear and terror into the world, began to crumble to pieces. The party rushed to the Falcon to avoid being buried with the tower, with Terra leading the way.

(At this point, each character has his/her own little segment in the ending. Due to the fact that Edgar, along with Setzer and Celes, are mandatory characters in order to complete the game, the three appeared in most of the segments of the other characters. The following is the list of the character segments that Edgar appeared in)

Edgar's ending with Sabin (image 1 - 2 - 3 - 4)
Edgar's ending sceneEdgar, Sabin, Celes and Setzer came across a locked door. As Edgar tries to pick the lock, a beam above him collapsed, and Sabin ran over to catch the beam just in time before it crushed Edgar. Edgar continued to pick the lock as Sabin stated that he didn't abandon the kingdom, and that he left Figaro because he knew Edgar would be a better king. Sabin trained hard, knowing that he have to help his brother one day. Edgar then got the door open, Sabin threw the beam away, and the four ran out the door, with Edgar doing his finger-wiggling pose at the end.

Edgar's ending without Sabin
Same as the previously stated ending (without Sabin present), except Edgar jumped away just in time before the beam fell on him. As Setzer, Celes and Edgar moved the beam away from the door together, Edgar said "Where is Sabin when you need him?” The three removed the beam, Edgar got the door open, went by his rule of "Ladies first!" and allowed Celes (and Setzer...but he's not a lady ^^) to go first. He then does his finger-wiggling pose before leaving.

Cyan's ending
Cyan, not liking that switch one bitAs Cyan, Celes, Setzer and Edgar ran down some stairs, a flight of stairs under Edgar collapsed, but Edgar managed to grab a ledge just in time. He asked Cyan to operate the switch to lower the emergency ladder. Cyan, who cannot stand anything technological, walked around the switch a few times before finally pulling it, stating that he had to show technology who's boss.

Setzer's ending
Setzer gambling with life...Setzer, Celes and Edgar ran to a T-intersection, and Setzer flipped a coin and decided to go left. Celes & Edgar followed him, but Setzer suddenly had a change of mind and switched direction, which surprised Celes & Edgar. As they headed right instead, the door on the left exploded, and Setzer stated how you'd have to feel your way through situation in life.

Mog's ending
Edgar learning how to fish a moogleMog and Edgar was running when Mog suddenly fell into a pit. Mog cried "Help meeeeeeeeee!" Edgar grinned and did his finger-wiggling pose again. He found a switch for an overhead hook, and used it to hook Mog's hair/antenna/pom-pom to pull him back up, with Mog going "Watch the hair! Watch the hair!" the whole time. Mog gave Edgar an angry look once he's back on safe ground, with Edgar laughing at him. (Cute ending...loved this one ^^)

Gogo's ending
Gogo at his best...at copying peopleEdgar & Setzer were separated from Gogo and Celes when the tiles on the floor moved apart. Since the two switches which operate the tile had to be pressed at the same time, Gogo mimicked everything Celes does when pulling the switches, and the tile moved back to the proper position. Edgar, Celes and Setzer then went up the stairs, but Gogo ended up falling into a pit (at the open floor in the center of the pic on the left).

Gau's ending
Gau doing...somethingEdgar, Celes and Gau came across a dead end, and Gau said he would find a shortcut. Riding on big round boulders, he rolled through the mud piles in the tower into another open road. When Edgar & Celes caught up to him, he sent Celes rolling away through the mud pile with a boulder, claiming that it was a shortcut. (this ending actually doesn't make much sense to me...it's weird O_o And Gau did not send Edgar on a boulder as he kinda just left Edgar...maybe Edgar was too heavy...LOL)

Celes' ending (with & without Locke)
Celes really has a thing for bandannasCeles, Setzer and Edgar ran down a hall and Celes dropped a bandanna. She ran back to get it, but the floors fell apart and, depending if Locke was there or not, either Locke or Setzer pulled her up to keep her from falling with the floor tiles. If Locke is there, he'll scold her for risking her life to pick such a silly thing up. If Locke isn't there, Celes would say something about Locke, then they all leave the scene.

Terra's ending
Terra saying goodbye to her fatherThe Maduin Magicite appeared as Terra, Edgar, Celes and Setzer ran through the Esper research lab. Maduin told Terra that even though Esper would all disappear, Terra would be able to live on as a human being if she's strongly attached to something/someone in the human world. Maduin then faded away, and they all exited the lab, with Terra looking back at where her father was for the one last time.

Relm's ending without Strago
Relm was having a tough time walking through the conveyer belt (opposing its direction flow), and Celes, Edgar and Setzer all ran pass her without helping her. Relm got mad and yelled that she would paint their portraits. They got scared, stopped, and were brought back to where Relm was by the conveyer belt. Relm laughed, then with a burst of speed ran down the belt, leaving the three.

In the end, everyone escaped, Terra didn't fade away like all the Espers did, and they sailed across the world in the Falcon. The earth was green again, plants were growing again, people were rebuilding homes, Katarin had a baby, and everyone lived happily ever after...or so it seemed ^^ A very happy ending where the heroes won. (as if you would expect otherwise ^^)
